New wedding up on the blog, the wedding of Claire + Rich. I say this a lot but I am very privileged to work with some amazing couples and these pair were no exception, you may remember them from their super fun pre-wedding shoot earlier in the year? A wedding I had been looking forward to all season actually, not just because I knew their day would be fun, but also I got chance to cover the lovely Nuthurst Grange in Hockley Heath, Warwickshire. This beautiful venue has been on my radar for a while now so it was lovely to finally get to work there, quite the perfect venue for a memorable wedding day.
I caught up firstly with Claire who was busy getting herself ready with her many bridesmaids upstairs in the main house, taking full advantage of the huge bedrooms. Being a hair dresser at Richard Wallace Hair in Monkspath, Claire had her friend and co-worker Michaela working her magic when i arrived. I left them to it to allow Claire to get her amazing Essence of Australia dress (supplied by The Bridal Boutique Warwickshire - Henley in Arden) and Steve Madden Shoes on, grabbing a chance to catch up with Rich and the groomsmen. When i met them they were having button hole issues, pretty standard first world man issues, thank god for Venessa, Nuthurst Grange Wedding planner who came to their rescue! The flowers and button holes were looking particularily stunning all supplied by Urban Flower Design in Hall Green.
What followed was quite possibly the nicest ceremonies i have had the pleasure of shooting, full of fun and emotion. A true reflection of this couple and how they are in each other's company, such a pleasure to witness and be around. The day then kicked into full swing with guests treated to drinks and canapés on the front terrace where the families were able to come together as one. The fun continued with hilarious speeches, traditional cake cutting with cake supplied by Hilary Sparkes ([email protected]), beer pong tournaments and musical entertainment by the brilliant Dave Clarke ensuring guests could party right into the night.
A truly memorable day, here are some of my favourite moments.....
