I've lived in Birmingham most of my life and am very proud of where I come from, that said I am well travelled and have moved around in my earlier years.  Often Birmingham is the butt of jokes from around the country but this always makes me smile because this opinion is from people that have never had the pleasure of visiting some of the amazing places I am lucky enough to have at my doorstep.  The Lickey Hills is no exception, a childhood stomping ground of mine boasting stunning woodland scenery and amazing panoramic views of the city centre and beyond.

Lisa and Frank, one of my 2014 couples also love visiting this special place so it made sense we meet for a catch up and to take a few warm up photos ahead of their big day.  We started at the Old Rose and Crown Hotel and walked right to the toposcope, taking in some of those magical views.  Follows is a selection of images taken during our walk:-
