My final wedding of 2015 saw me at the elegant Somerford Hall for the lovely marriage of Ian and Jayne. This wonderful Staffordshire wedding venue is a Palladian style mansion house dating back to the 18th century and is set in 100 acres of parkland, a perfect location for ones wedding day. Having spent an afternoon with Ian & Jayne during their pre wedding shoot at Stratford upon Avon a few months before, I was really looking forward to this one… I was not disappointed.
The couple had elected to host their whole day here with Jayne making full use of the amazing bridal suit, getting ready with the help of her bridal party. The groomsmen were also getting ready on site so I was able to catch up with them for a spot of informal portraits to help settle a few last minute nerves and pass the time before the ceremony guests started to arrive.
Their day went without a glitch, a beautiful and emotional ceremony followed by drinks, a chance for the 2 families and all their friends to come together. Ian & Jayne had gone all out with the entertainment with a live band, a hog roast and the icing on the cake being a fireworks display for guest brave enough to stand outside.
A truly lovely occasion, follows are a selection of images taken during their most special day.......
